sam:
how much aggregate after scaling do u need for 99.7 - 99.95 ATAR |
Albert:
467.4 - 478.9. The download version shows the scaled HSC aggregate. I will add this feature to the online version. |
Furniss:
Great web site, i found the study skills section extremely helpful. |
Albert:
Thanks - will be adding more study tips throughout the year |
Tiddles:
I know doing medicine has 3 different components to it, but what is the approx. ATAR cut for B.Med.Sc.,M.B.,B.S.?? |
Tiddles:
Scratch that last question.... Is the medicine course offered a post-graduate course??? |
Albert:
See new UMAT link on menu |
Brother Google:
This is pretty darn fully sick! Very nice combination of resources. |
Callum:
How accurate is the ATAR calculator? |
Albert:
I have found over the years that the ATAR/ UAI differs for many students by about +- 0.1. This also depends on how much a course varies per year in terms of student candidature and the completeness of released statistics. |
cantbebothered:
Is it true that if you do 4 unit english, only 2 units of english will be counted instead of 4? |
cantbebothered:
yes, but it will be your best two so it works out well anyway |
Albert:
Atar = best 2 units of English + best 8 units of rest (may or may not include additional units of English) |
cantbebothered:
but with 4 unit maths, 2 unit adv maths won't be counted in the atar? |
Albert:
Atar = best 2 units of English + best 8 units of rest (this may include 2 u mathematics + additional units in extension maths). See UAC link |
Cazz:
I have just done my maths HSC and got 95 in 2unit, i am doing 4u atm but want to knwo if it will be beneficial? |
Albert:
It depends upon your other subjects. You are very strong in Maths and it scales well. eg. 45 in Maths Ext 2(1 unit) = Atar 99.05 |
